We recently launched Fibralux MR Grey Super Matt: core coloured grey MDF with a super matt finish in two shades - light grey (Meteor Grey) and dark grey (Mercury Grey). Together with the black variant, Fibralux MR Black Super Matt, they form a super trio! But what can you expect from our "Super Matt" transparent coating?

Is it scratch-resistant?

Keys sliding across counters, the surface of a bar during happy hour... Our MDF panels are used in all sorts of places. So we make sure that no matter what situation they find themselves in – they can handle the stress. Lacquered MDF is not usually associated with the term "scratch resistant" - or is it?!

Spoiler alert: due to their high scratch resistance, the MDF boards with Super Matt & Satin finish can also be used for horizontal applications - with the exception of worktops.
