Increasingly, emission labels, but also building certificates such as WELL, Breeam or Leed, play an important role. In addition to certificates, declarations of conformity are also essential in order to achieve these. In order to complete your project successfully, you need the right documentation. 

Below you will find an overview of all certificates or available declarations of conformity that will help you further.

 

Responsible wood extraction

Wood is the most important raw material for panels. We use recycled wood as much as possible . Independent bodies such as PEFC and FSC together with governments, such as the EU with EUTR and the UK with UKTR, are committed to combating the illegal logging of forests. We guarantee that the wood we use comes from sustainable forest management. All our products comply with EUTR and UKTR rules . On request, all products are PEFC and FSC certified,depending on the certification of our stocks.

💡 For certain building certificates, such as BREEAM, the use of PEFC & FSC-certified materials is a basic condition for responsible sourcing.

 

Cradle to Cradle

Circularity is here to stay. It is essential to combat waste mountains and the depletion of raw materials. The Cradle to Cradle institute sets the standard worldwide for the safe, circular and responsible manufacture of products and applies to all industrial sectors. By 2025, we aim to achieve C2C® certification for all our products according to the latest and most stringent version 4.

Air quality via emission labels

Materials should contribute to healthy living and working environments. We guarantee this through products with low VOC emissions (Volatile Organic Compounds). Within our product range, we offer solutions that meet the most common standards such as:

Healthy, easy-care surfaces

Creating a hygienic environment begins with choosing the right material. Panels with an antibacterial surface help to prevent the spread and multiplication of bacteria. The antibacterial properties of our melamine faced panels and HPL products are permanently effective. The surface provides a second-line defence against the spread of harmful bacteria in public buildings, hospitals, residential and care homes, schools and other commercial environments. They are also suitable for contact with food.

 

High quality is the norm

ISO standards guarantee high quality in terms of product, environmental management and energy. All our production sites are certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard. 

 

Sustainability quantitatively compared

Do you want to compare the sustainability of products? The Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) (FDES for the French market) have been created for this purpose. They contain figures – calculated reliably using the standardised Life Cycle Assessment – on, for example, the CO2 emissions and the energy and water consumption associated with production. This allows you to compare the ecological impact of products from the extraction of raw materials to the end of their life cycle.
