Warehouse expansion - Verberckmoes
The Verberckmoes furniture store in Sint-Gillis-Waas is fully focused on retail sales. That’s why the company decided to double the warehouse space at its collection centre to 3600 m2 by adding an extra floor. For the base boards, Nolte Opslag Systemen worked, as always, with material from UNILIN, in this case Mezzanine U7 boards.

The new mezzanine floor was constructed in less than three weeks. “The upper surface of the floor has a natural wood look, and the undersides of the boards are white”, Pieter explains. “They are supported on metal profiles that we have developed specifically for this purpose, which feature hexagonal holes through which the cables for the sprinklers and lighting can run. This reduces the likelihood of their becoming damaged, as they are protected. It also means that less light is required. This is just one of the 400 fantastic projects that we complete with UNILIN every year!”
