Bleckmann’s clothing warehouse
Logistics provider Bleckmann, a fashion and lifestyle specialist, has constructed 20,000 m2 of storage space for the fast-growing American fashion brand Michael Kors in the Dutch city of Enschede. Hovuma Magazijnstellingen and UNILIN, division panels, delivered a cost- and space-efficient solution using mezzanine floors.

UNILIN, division panels suggested we use its high-density U7 panel. This P6 panel is CE certified and creates the basis for a robust, reliable floor. The standardised dimensions are compatible with all the most commonly-used rafter distances. This also means that they are able to provide sizeable cost-savings. ‘One of the key additional advantages was the ease with which the U7 panels could be installed,’ Piet explains. ‘The panels come in a handy format which makes them more manageable. They are also fitted with a unique tongue-and-groove system. This meant that it took the engineers just four weeks to floor over 8,000 m2 of storage space.
