Giving MDF a smooth and neat varnish by hand is a tough job. So why not save time and money with our ready-to-use decorative MDF panels? This MDF with a grey-coloured core has a transparent lacquer coating of incomparable quality on both sides, with visible natural fibres. Not only does this make the panels look great, but it also means you don’t have to worry about further finishing.

Decorative MDF can be used for a wide range of applications, including furniture, wall coverings, stand construction and product presentations in stores and showrooms. The panels are also quick and easy to process: let your creativity run wild and cut, drill and laser away!

This panel is available in a Super Matt (SM1) lacquer finish: a high-quality, super-matt, anti-fingerprint finish with soft touch. You can choose from two unique shades:
  • Meteor Grey (light grey)
  • Mercury Grey (dark grey)
Decorative MDF is colourfast, stain-resistant and easy to maintain. The panels also stand out as a result of their high density and moisture-resistant qualities. Thanks to their excellent scratch resistance, panels with the Super Matt finish are also suitable for horizontal applications such as desks and reception desks, with the exception of worktops.

Our lacquered MDF panels undergo rigorous quality controls and can be used immediately. Simply keep the edges visible or finish them with matching ABS edge tape of the same colour and gloss level for a sleek result.

This product can also be used for structural applications in humid environments, such as for bathroom furniture. It has low formaldehyde emissions (category E1) and meets the standards of the California Air Resources Board (CARB Phase 2), EPA (TSCA Title VI), ChemVerbotsV (Germany) and AFSSET Classe A+ (France).

All our MDF panels consist of 89% renewable materials and are made from 100% recovered wood. Unilin is the first manufacturer worldwide to recycle MDF and uses recycled fibres for the production of new MDF. This product can be PEFC and FSC certified on request, depending on the certification of our stocks.
