Responsible wood sourcing

Wood forms the basis of our panel material and we use it responsibly. That’s why we use only recovered and recycled wood, avoiding timber from illegal logging.

That is why all our products comply with both the EUTR and UKTR regulations, and are available with PEFC or FSC certification upon request (depending on stock certification).

💡 Did you know that some building certification schemes such as BREEAM require the use of PEFC or FSC certified materials? This also helps you meet the ‘responsible sourcing’ criterion.

Cradle to Cradle

The Cradle to Cradle Institute sets the global standard for safe, circular, and responsibly produced products. In our sector, we are the only manufacturer to have obtained the full Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze level for our raw and decorative chipboards and HPL, in the latest and strictest 4.0 version. Additionally, both our raw and decorative MDF have been awarded Cradle to Cradle Certified® Material Health Bronze V4.0.

Only the best is good enough for your clients and that’s why we ensure our materials contribute to healthier living and working environments. Our panel materials meet key standards for low emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs):

Transparent comparison with EPDs

Struggling to compare the vast range of building materials? Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) allow for an objective comparison of a product’s environmental impact. Each report includes transparent figures on the sustainability of a product – aspects such as CO₂ emissions and energy use – across the entire life cycle from raw material to end of life.

To make it easier for you, we’ve drawn up EPDs for all our products. These have been externally verified by IBU. Comparing products has never been simpler.

Looking to reduce the spread of harmful bacteria in public buildings, hospitals, care centres, schools or commercial spaces? It all starts with choosing the right materials. Our decorative panels and HPL feature a permanently antibacterial surface. They not only offer protection against bacteria but are also safe for contact with food products.
