Recycling MDF and HDF? That was always something for the distant future but a couple of years ago Unilin has become the first player to make it a reality. Our 2021 breakthrough technology was just the beginning – now we're scaling it up! Thanks to a €20 million investment, we are putting our Bazeilles production site on the map as the home of the world’s first industrial installation for the recycling of MDF. From September 2025, the facility will recycle up to 70,000 tonnes of wood fibres per year. Talk about a milestone!

The Belgian retail group has created a fresh new look for its offices and stores, and at the same time given old fittings a new lease of life. Permanent partner Unilin Panels has reused the wood as a raw material for panels that the Colruyt Group has integrated into its new interior.
All over the world, extra capacity is urgently needed in the healthcare sector. Due to time pressure, mobile units are mainly used, on the one hand to quickly create extra surface area in hospitals, and on the other hand to cross the country with mobile care units.

Employees and customers quickly feel at home in the new offices of Moderna Products, a manufacturer of pet plastic products. Unilin Master Oak adds a warm, luxurious oak touch in combination with 'harder' materials such as concrete and steel. “Master Oak is both beautiful and high-performing,” says architect Lieze Vergauwe from AAVO Architects, who worked closely with joinery firm Holvoet Gebroeders on this project.
February 29, 2024 marked a long-awaited moment! Together with about 130 colleagues from Unilin Panels, we packed our things and headed for the brand new office building in Wielsbeke. A place where we immediately felt at home, because the familiar Unilin materials are everywhere in the building. And the icing on the cake? The offices are a tribute to sustainability and innovation, which is ingrained in our DNA.

The office architects of Buro Project and the bespoke specialists of Meet n Greet tell you why Master Oak was the only right choice for this out-of-the-box office building.
What happens when you give a creative team carte blanche? Things get interesting to say the least. For the material library at Broeinest in Amsterdam – an immersive library where multiple suppliers of interior materials can install an expressive display – Unilin Panels asked Nachtlab to build an innovative presentation that shows how our materials can be used. The challenge was to build an inspirational piece that highlights the properties of our materials by displaying them in a way that inspires architects and other interior professionals, and shows them our materials in their most exciting and inspirational forms. Interior builder Intos took care of the project’s installation.
