Raised floor - Vooruit

Arts centre De Vooruit opted for I-Joist beams as part of a project to raise the floor of one of its studios. The beams were installed by carpentry students from Dan-Bosco. The I beams are particularly lightweight, have high dimensional stability and offer the option of installing openings. The finish was created using pressed bamboo.
