The choice of panel depends on the required load-bearing capacity – a structurally load-bearing formwork panel (P5) or a non-load-bearing formwork panel (P3) – and on the desired finish.
Raw boards are suitable for simple formwork where the formwork is only used once or remains in the concrete as permanent formwork.

Lacquered boards provide a smoother formwork surface, are easier to remove and are suitable for repeated use.
