Unilin Panels and AQForm create the perfect setting for new Master Oak designs
18/11/2024
Two years after the launch of Master Oak, Unilin Panels are expanding their bestseller collection with 12 brand-new designs. And that calls for a stage. Or rather, a grand mansion not far from the Unilin Panels headquarters, where the new melamine and HPL designs shine in an impressive setting, partly thanks to the ingenious AQForm lighting plan, which literally puts every collection detail in the spotlight. The perfect backdrop for these beautiful designs!
Harmonious whole
The AQForm lighting plan blends seamlessly with the new Master Oak collection theme: the collection creates a dialogue between old and new – or between present, past and future – and so does the lighting in the stately home. This means you will find different lighting families in the mansion's rooms: from the brand-new Triba collection to the classic Pet spotlights. And there is also a common theme to the colour palette: the warm, earthy tones of the Master Oak designs are echoed nicely in the light fittings.
Focus on atmosphere and dynamics
Many lighting projects focus on certain lux levels, but that wasn't the case here. AQForm account manager Céleste Deceuninck: "Atmosphere and dynamics were much more important. We instinctively looked at the purpose of each space and the objects it held. That is because there is something different to experience in each room: one room highlights the new Master Oak designs, while another mainly shows the inspiration behind the collection." Each space should evoke just the right feeling. And that starts with first impressions: the generous entrance hall boasts an impressive cluster of Modern Ball light fixtures immediately inviting guests to explore the mansion further.
Enhancing lighting
Master Oak designs are known for their extremely realistic and multidimensional texture, making them almost indistinguishable from real wood or veneer. The right lighting does the collection's texture and magnificent colours justice: "All our luminaires have a CRI rating higher than 90. That means they show objects' true colours. At the same time, our luminaires really do the many details of the interior justice. In the house's living room, for example, we installed spotlights with an adjustable beam angle. The wider the angle, the more diffuse the light. The narrower the angle, the more you can focus on a specific element. This allows you to play with the light and specifically target certain things you want to accentuate." That is how the lighting brings the collection to life!
