ChemVerbots legislation
As of the 1st of January 2020 the adjustment of the ChemVerbotsV imposed by the German Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Nukleare Sicherheit will go into effect. The E1 level has to be proven for wood-based panels by an alternative test method EN16516 or by doubling the results of the currently used EN717-1.
Boards with surface finish made by UNILIN
The full program of current UNILIN products with MDF or chipboard baseplate that are double sided melamined, lacquered, primed or laminated (HPL) are tested and comply with the new ChemVerbotsV regulations. You can order this type of products just as today with exact the same product name or reference.
Raw boards and 1-side coated boards (chipboard & MDF) made by UNILIN
A new stockrange will be available as of 1st of January 2020. The products will be referenced with “LF+”. If, for any reason, you want to order the new compliant products earlier, please contact your regular sales person.
Next to the new range of products you can continue to use our current product program of raw boards if this is used for finishing the surface on both sides. Only condition for using the current product program is to prove (test) that the finished products comply with the ChemVerbotsV regulation.
