Can I install a wall higher than 3500 mm?
Yes, you can extend the height by stacking two panels. Here are three recommended techniques:
1. Butt joint
Stack the panels directly on top of each other (see Figure 1).
TIP: Saw the panels at right angles and place them on an L-profile mounted perpendicular to the wall base for a straight joint.
2. Aluminium T-Profile
Stack the panels and cover the seam with an aluminium T-profile (3000x12x10.5). Mount the profile with the wider side facing the front to conceal an expansion gap of at least 4 mm between the panels (see Figure 2). Use MS polymer for adhesion to one of the panels.
3. Overlap joint
Mill an L-shape into the top of the lower panel and the bottom of the upper panel to create a lap joint (see Figure 3). For extra adhesion, apply MS polymer between the panels.
