Spotted: Dutch design with a Belgian twist in Milan

You may well have spotted us in Milan last month. Our client, Blok Plaatmateriaal, showcased their range with an impressive, proprietary installation during the 62nd edition of the Salone del Mobile international design trade fair. That all but confirmed our attendance at the event, too!SFUMATURE: An ode to craftsmanship
Last month, more than 100 Dutch designers and companies attended 'Masterly – The Dutch' expo in Milan, as part of Salone del Mobile. Our longstanding client, Blok Plaatmateriaal, a supplier of interior design panels, exhibited at the event with a stand in the historic Giureconsulti Palace.
Visitors are sure to have seen them, as their installation SFUMATURE ('hues' in Italian) adorned the building's majestic colonnades for the occasion. The design consisted of arches made of various sustainable (board) materials, including our HPL in natural grey and beige tones. The aim? "To celebrate the rich heritage of craftsmanship in our industry, and to immerse visitors in a world where art, design and history come together", said CEO Jan Blok.
