A large wall rack in HPL surrounds the window with a view of Actibel’s offices

The ibis Styles hotel in Namur lives up to its name with a wide range of HPL furniture in a stylish Missoury Hickory light finish

In the multi-purpose business centre of the Actibel real estate group in Namur, ibis Styles operates a stylish business hotel. A modern gem with more than 90 rooms and a handful of suites in the capital of Wallonia.

Business people from all over the country can spend the night there, meet in one of its numerous meeting rooms, eat in the restaurant, or unwind in the foyer.

“We resolutely chose a single design from the Unilin Panels Decorative Range: Missoury Hickory light,” says Alexandre Piret-Gérard, Sales Manager at Actibel. “This design is repeated throughout the building: in the rooms, the foyer, and the restaurant. This allows us to create a peaceful and unified interior, which guests certainly appreciate.”

The huge cabinet on the first floor is also a real eye-catcher. It is built around a window with a view of Actibel’s offices. “A clever piece of craftsmanship and the icing on the cake of a successful interior project,” says Alexandre.

The hotel’s common theme? “Craftsmanship,” explains General Manager Michael Meunier. “The 4 corridors each represent different crafts: photography, carpentry, painting, and sculpture. Using Unilin Panels’ materials, we were able to give the interior’s authentic character an even stronger presence.”

And you can take the word stronger literally: many pieces of furniture, from the headboards in the bedrooms to the cabinets and tables in the dining room, are finished in HPL. A firm knock from a coffee cup or suitcase will not harm the furniture.
