Wood Loop in The Netherlands
The Netherlands wants to be fully circular by 2050. By working together as a chain, wood recycling can be organized on a larger scale, easier and more efficiently.
That’s why Koninklijke CBM, Baars & Bloemhoff and Unilin Panels launched 'Wood Loop', a unique chain initiative that should enable all SMEs to recycle MDF and chipboard easily and affordably.
Like waste disposal companies, Wood Loop collects wood remnants to make new boards. The residual wood from Wood Loop participants results in significantly lower CO2 emissions because the recycling cycle is organised in a smarter way: the waste wood follows the shortest path from processor to producer.Find out more about Wood Loop
