Chipboard consists of wood chips and sawdust that are compressed and glued. Specific treatment may give the chipboard additional properties thus making one chipboard more resistant to moisture, another fire retardant, and another with considerably lower formaldehyde emissions. Thanks to their easy processability, chipboards have a wide field of applications: as a wall, floor or roof, used in interiors and furniture, or concrete formwork.
The chipboard from Unilin, division panels are also an environmentally responsible choice. For production we use recycled wood, complemented by wood from local timber extraction. Thanks to a meticulous production process, driven by our own biomass plant our boards can be considered CO2-neutral.
