MUF-glued Hydrolis WRB is a moisture-resistant chipboard produced with high volume density, specifically for concrete formwork
Hydrolis WRB only demonstrates minimal expansion and swelling under the influence of high relative humidity.
These boards are easy to saw and particularly suited to applications in service class 2 (limited temperature and relative humidity) and biological hazard classes 1 and 2 of EN Standard 335-3.

Hydrolis WRB is available as standard with a heat-treated TopFinish surface. This creates an extra-hard, sealed surface with greater impact resistance, which is easy to clean. The high concentration of natural paraffin in the surface makes these boards especially moisture resistant.
All these advantages mean that boards with a TopFinish surface are particularly suitable for load-bearing building applications such as concrete formwork.

Hydrolis WRB with a TopFinish surface is particularly well suited for use as a formwork board for short-term concrete formwork. The time for this is limited to a maximum of two days due to the absorbent surface of the formwork.
Applying a suitable dismantling oil is recommended. This helps to ensure that you can re-use Hydrolis WRB several times.

TopFinish
The heat-treated TopFinish surface (TF) creates an extra-hard, sealed surface with greater impact resistance, and it is easy to clean. The increased concentration of natural paraffin in the surface increases its moisture resistance. Our boards with a TopFinish surface also score highly for air tightness. These advantages mean that boards with a TopFinish surface are particularly suitable for building applications.
